Cookie Policy

Cookies and similar technologies (like local storage) are small pieces of data saved by your browser. Here is how SlayArcade uses them.

Essential local storage (ours)

We use your browser’s local storage, not tracking cookies, to remember your game progress, best scores, favorites, daily streaks, settings and leaderboard nickname. Without it, your progress would reset on every visit. This data is not shared with advertisers.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)

Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to count visits and understand how games are played. Where consent is required, they are only set after you agree. Opt out anytime with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Analytics storage (Mixpanel)

Mixpanel keeps a random identifier in your browser’s local storage (keys starting mixpanel), plus pixel-first-seen, pixel-first-play and pixel-entry-path, to measure first visits and sessions. Where consent is required, it is only used after you agree, and declining removes the identifier.

Advertising cookies (Google and partners)

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads, limit how often you see an ad, measure ad performance and, where you consent, personalize ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Examples include Google’s advertising cookies set on doubleclick.net and google.com domains.

Your consent

If you visit from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before any analytics or advertising cookies are used. Until you choose, they stay off. Anyone can change their choice at any time with the “Privacy settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; ads will still appear but will be less relevant.

For more, read our Privacy Policy.

YOUR SLAYARCADE PLAYER

What should we call you?

One name for every game. Competitive games, the ones marked with a trophy, put you on their weekly leaderboard automatically when you finish a run.

You can change your name anytime. Your player ID and scores stay the same on this browser. Use a nickname, not your full name.
