Meet Super Over Cricket Cards

Chase a target in a six-ball super over with timed batting. Read the field, find the gaps and beat the bowler's tricks with Hex, Overload and Purge cards.

How to play Super Over Cricket Cards

It is a one-tap game where you play the field. Watch the ball come down the pitch and tap anywhere, press Space or Enter, or hit Swing the moment it reaches your bat. Timing sets the power: perfect is a lofted six, good a driven four, an edge a single. Timing also sets the direction: a touch early goes toward leg (left), a touch late toward off (right). Find a gap between the fielders, but a lofted shot that drops near a fielder is caught, and missing a ball that is heading for the stumps bowls you. After every swing a timing strip shows how early or late you were. Real matches give no aids while the ball is coming, so learn them first in the Practice nets from the dugout: a shrinking ring and a NOW cue at the bat, a marker where the ball will pitch, a live aim line on the shot map and a choice of delivery to drill (pace, swing, spin, yorkers, bouncers). Watch the bowler's tricks, because the pitch and light change each match. Optional cards: while the bowler runs in, press 1, 2 or 3 (or tap a card) to play Hex, Overload or Purge. Between matches, spend coins in the dugout on each batter's power and timing.

A tip for your next run

Learn the timing in the Practice nets, where a ring turns green at the perfect moment. In a real match, tap as the ball reaches your bat, and be a touch early or late to steer it into a gap. Save Purge for a tricky delivery and Overload for the last ball.

What is a super over in cricket?

A super over is a one-over tiebreaker: each side gets six balls and two wickets. Super Over Cricket Cards turns that into a quick chase, where you must reach a target in six balls without losing both wickets.

How do you bat in Super Over Cricket Cards?

Tap anywhere, press Space or hit Swing just as the ball reaches your bat. Perfect timing is a lofted six, good timing a driven four and a thin edge a single. If you miss a ball on the stumps or do not swing at it, you are bowled.

Is there a practice mode in Super Over Cricket Cards?

Yes. Open the Practice nets from the dugout for unlimited balls with no target, wickets or score. It shows a shrinking timing ring with a NOW cue, a marker where each ball will pitch and a live aim line on the shot map, and lets you drill pace, swing, spin, yorkers or bouncers. Real matches switch these aids off.

How do you choose where the ball goes in Super Over Cricket Cards?

Your timing steers the shot. Swing a touch early to send it toward leg (left), a touch late toward off (right), and dead on time to go straight. The shot map in the corner shows the fielders and where the ball would go right now, so you can aim for a gap.

How do pitches and bowling tricks change the game?

Each match has a pitch and light: flat, green or dusty, in day, dusk or night. Green pitches help swing and dusty ones help spin. The bowler also tries yorkers and bouncers, shown by a marker where the ball will pitch, and Purge cancels a trick delivery.

What do the Hex, Overload and Purge cards do?

Hex makes the next ball slower and widens your timing window. Overload turns your next hit into a six. Purge turns the bowler's trick ball (swing, spin, yorker or bouncer) into a plain one. Play them while the bowler runs in. Cards cost energy, which you earn back with perfect timing and boundaries.

Can you play Super Over Cricket Cards on a phone?

Yes. It is a one-tap game: tap the pitch or the big Swing button to bat, and tap a card if you want a tactic. It works in portrait and landscape with no download.

How do squad upgrades work?

You earn coins for every run, plus a bonus for winning. Spend them in the dugout to raise each batter's power and timing up to five. Your squad and coins are saved on your own device.

Is Super Over Cricket Cards free to play?

Yes. It is free in your browser with no download or sign-up, and it has no leaderboard. Your best score is saved on your device.
