How to play Number Trail
Press on the square marked 1 and drag to draw a trail, or tap a square to draw toward it. Pass through the numbers in order, fill every square exactly once and finish on the highest number. Drag back over your trail to erase it. Undo rewinds to the previous number and can be used twice per puzzle; Hint shows the next few squares once. Keyboard: arrow keys or WASD draw the trail, U undoes and H shows the hint.

Work backwards from the highest number: the squares around it are the last ones your trail has to fill.
How do you play Number Trail?
Start on the square marked 1 and draw one continuous trail with your mouse, finger or the arrow keys. The trail must pass through every number in order, cover every square exactly once and end on the highest number.
What are the rules of Number Trail?
The trail moves one square at a time up, down, left or right and can never cross itself. Numbers must be reached in order, and the highest number can only be entered last, once every other square is filled.
Can you undo moves or get a hint in Number Trail?
Yes. Dragging back over your trail erases it for free. Undo can also rewind the trail to the previous number, twice per puzzle. One hint per puzzle shows the next four squares, and it trims any wrong turns first. Both are counted in your score.
Does every Number Trail puzzle have a solution?
Yes. Each board is built around a real solution, so a finished trail always exists. On most boards it is the only one, which means you can solve by logic instead of guessing.
How do you play Number Trail with a keyboard?
Focus the board, then press the arrow keys or W, A, S and D to extend the trail one square at a time. Moving back onto the previous square erases it. Press U to undo to the previous number and H for a hint. A screen reader announces your position and the next number after each move.
